Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini Audio to SDI 12G

Embeds audio into an SDI signal — the reverse of the de-embedder. Takes 2 channels of balanced analogue on XLR, or up to 4 channels of AES/EBU, and lays them into any SD, HD or Ultra HD SDI feed over 12G-SDI. The usual job is getting a sound desk output onto a camera or playback feed so picture and sound travel together.

Part of the Teranex Mini 12G range: SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 4K DCI (4096 × 2160) over 12G-SDI, 24-bit 48 kHz audio, Ethernet with PoE+ so it can be powered down the network cable, and USB for setup in Blackmagic Converters Setup. Three sit across a 1U rack shelf, and an optional Smart Panel adds an LCD and controls to the front.
