DT Videolabs PlaybackPro Plus
Professional non-linear media playback for macOS, and the tool a great many corporate and broadcast shows use to roll clips into a switcher. Media is loaded into a runlist, ordered and fired on cue, with a mixer for crossfades or straight cuts between clips, stills, freeze on last frame and looping either per clip or across the whole list. Nothing it does alters the original files.
Output resolution and aspect ratio are detected automatically, with manual sizing, stretching and cropping on top, plus per-clip gain, black level, saturation, gamma and volume.

Current release is PlaybackPro Plus X (4.x), a 64-bit build running on macOS Catalina (10.15) through Tahoe (26). macOS only — there is no Windows version.
SDI output needs a third-party converter, such as a Blackmagic Design or AJA mini converter. UltraStudio, T-Tap and Kona devices are not supported.
