Barco ImagePRO-4K Scaler / Converter / Switcher

The Barco ImagePRO-4K scales, converts and switches 4K signals in a single 1U box. It is the standalone processor behind a great many shows — the thing you put in the chain when a source and a destination refuse to agree.

Ships with a Tri-Combo input card and a Tri-Combo output card, each carrying 1× HDMI 2.0 (4K60p 4:4:4 8-bit / 4:2:2 10-bit), 1× DisplayPort 1.2 (4K60p 4:4:4 10-bit), and 2× 12G-SDI (4K60p 4:2:2 10-bit) or 4× 3G-SDI. Output image rotation is supported.

Processing is 12-bit internally with a latency of one frame, progressive. Up to 6 HD or 2 4K60p scaled aux outputs, each with independent scaling, sizing and colour correction. Still store holds up to 100 HD or 25 UHD images, and the front panel carries a live preview of the incoming signal.

For LED work it will chop a single input across several connectors, or drive multiple walls from multiple sources, pre-scaling or cropping to the wall’s actual resolution.

Genlock is analogue reference in on BNC — blackburst and bi-level at SD, tri-level at HD — with reference output from an internal sync generator. Control is by front panel, WebUI, Event Master screen management software on PC or Mac, or Event Master controllers, over Gigabit Ethernet.

1U rack, 48.41 × 40.41 cm, 6.8 kg, 100–240 V AC 125 W. I/O cards are field-serviceable.
